Help me with my kitty?

my kittty sammy is always bored. i have a big room and its separate from the house (its the guest house with 2 small rooms) the house is much bigger but he cant go in because the windows are always open and he cant go outside because there are mountain lions and bobcats. he isnt really interested in toys and im not always home. how can i keep him occupied and happy before he goes insane from boredom?!?!??!!?!?!!?!?
