Is that true the christianity protestant teach to convert to catholics in protestants?

because Martin Luther taught the catholicism is wrong and that's the reason the majority of evangelicals or protestants are teaching to convert the catholics specially with the idea that they are not christians and stuff like that? but why? I know the anti-catholicism came from the first reformists but the nowadays evangelical pastors attack the catholic people in their sermons that's I have seen but why?
