A proposal for a new way to vote for All-Stars, agree?

so the fans voting for players are getting out of hand. Jeter starting for shortstop. GTFO, and i'm saying this as a yankee fan. Teixeria over Gonzalez? I admit that the ASG is always just plain biased but it's a great event and there are people that deserve to start over popular players. Why not just let the players and managers do an anonymous voting for players worthy of starting the game and letting fans vote for the remaining backups, etc. So instead players who are worthy of the startins actually get it. Agree?
