PS3: If i buy a PS3 (60 GB), And it breaks can Sony Repair it?

If you're buying it from a store and you're a first time buyer then the warranty should cover you for a year so you wouldn't have to pay if it breaks. generally you should be fine, PS3's dont really break very often. Ive got a 60GB since Feb 07 and there has been no problems. Im pretty sure Sony can still repair it though if you're scared of losing files back them up on a memory key or an external harddrive.
