Why do they teach kids a bout Hannukah and Kwanza in school?

I never learned about anything but Christmas. But a lot of people celebrate the "santa" part of Christmas, either because they don't believe in Jesus or just for personal reasons. I think that's why they teach only that side of it in school. I don't know why they would go into detail about the other religions and not Christianity's role in Christmas. If it upsets you that you son likes another one better, you can teach him about the meaning of Christmas. Ask him what he likes about the others better, and honestly inform him about each one. Also, I would speak to the teacher or Principle about his teacher and your concerns.
