Has giving up your freedoms that the terrorists hated you for a form of surrender?

I have not rolled over! I make my opinion known by writing, and taking a stand on issues like "airport searches" i have yet to fly ,but will be soon , and I will not take it sitting down, No x ray machine for me, I will do the "hand pat" and if more people would stand up together against this shame full humiliating dehumanizing by the local govs, that the people voted in , maybe this will stop. But if only one or two, scarcely stands, the gov is a big bully! Democratic? You got to be kidding? I believe the world of Orwell is here,. Take a stand, make a ruckus, don't surrender without a fight!!
