I also have 4 outlets in the kitchen and the 2 middle outlets do not work....?

It is likely that you have a GFI that has failed. If your tester lights up or buzzes it is likely you are using a Tick tracer style tester. Often they lie. Your most likely culprit is a loose or broken white neutral wire behind either one or the other GFI or on the back of one of the dead outlets. If the tick tracer says there is power there very well may be but without the return neutral aka white wire path nothing would work. No the circuit is not off a bathroom gfi by the way unless a moron did it. If your gfi's work when you plug something into either of them then the problem is not a breaker or in the panel.
