Illuminated Rifle Scopes. Red or Green?

well if you can find one for both, i would get that. use green for in the morning when it's starting to get lighter out and red for later in the day when it's getting darker. green you can see easier but it ruins your night vision, red is just the opposite. if you use a bright red light at night and then turn the light off you would still be ale to see, but if you used a dim green light at the same light level your eyes would have to take time to adjust. green also uses more battery power so that's another reason most people tend to stay away from it
